How do you feel about teen moms?

I'm a teen and I'm not a mother myself but being a parent has to be the greatest thing! I support teen parents 110% but hate when they get a little conceded! I've seen a post where there's a girl who's 17-18 has a baby,TTC for the second and feels she has more of a obligation to have a child and that its okay to have another so young because she's already been pooped,peed and thrown up on. You can't tell someone your age or even 19-20 that they shouldn't have a child and it's okay for you because you already experienced it. I'm pretty sure mostly everyone knows that being a mother isn't gonna be easy and there will be struggles on my way! Just my rant on how people think they know what's best😋

I have nothing against teen moms , some are better than adults , i was raised by a teen mom and she is amazing. HOWEVER, it is so so sad to see 15,16,17 year olds TTC. Its even more sad to see people encouraging them.

I was 35 and married when I had my first.  It was a billion times harder and stressful and difficult than I expected. And, that was with money and a husband,  I cannot imagine being a teen mom or a single mother.  It would be a million times harder.  There's no way I would choose to do it, I just know I don't have it in me, I can't even imagine...

My sister became a mother to her oldest at 16 & her youngest at 19. I thought she'd be a great mother but, the pressure was too much. I don't encourage it but, it's not my life.

I was a teen mom and it was not easy! I was a single mom by 18 years old... And I managed to put myself through school and support my daughter with the help of my family...

Basically every woman in my family was a teen mom. My grandma is a great great grandmother and she is 74. That's a lot of generations squeezed into not that much space. Seeing how they all raised their kids and seeing how many buckled under pressure and dropped out of school I decided to make sure I wasn't a teen parent. As much as people want to shout out how they are the exception the statistics that drop out and divorce rates are higher amoung teen parents are true. But if you really want a baby that bad then go ahead. Don't get upset if it isn't the fairy tale you thought it would be though.

Im 19 and I was 18 when I got pregnant and had my baby. My husband was 19. My baby boy wasn't planned. And Honestly I'm terrified to have another child... I do want another baby maybe in 5 years. First I want to focus on finishing college and have a good job so I can be financially stable to take care of children. My boyfriend (now husband) worked before the baby existed, and I  was still in high school (I graduated early) but after we found out a a baby was coming, we knew we had to work hard... I think it's just selfishness to get pregnant again while still a teenager. At least let your child grow and enjoy seeing them grow. Don't complicate things by having another child which most likely you will struggle to support. There's birth control! Use it! Children are not the reason of your mistakes so focus on giving them everything at the right time.
