My boyfriend and I was talking about our sex  life so I asked why he don't never perform oral sex on me but it's all fine when I go down on him. He told me because I don't douche so why is it a big deal to douche when you only dealing with your lover?

Don't douche, it could potentially cause issues which would be a real inconvenience to you! You just kind of have to trust your body is capable of cleaning itself :) He's kind of the "douche" here because your private parts are perfectly acceptable in their natural state. You can try eating pineapples and other fruits to make it taste a little better for him if he's going to be a little princessy about the whole ordeal! If you're willing give him head, he should return the favour :) Best of luck!

My doctor told me the best time to douche is never! Don't do it! It throws of your pH and causes all kinds of issues including the unwanted yeast infection. Just wash with soap and water nothing else!

It throws it off balance of you do it every week! I do it once a month and it's not bad I even asked my dr before I did and he said it was okay .
