When would you start your baby registry?

I'm 16 weeks+ 4 days and I started mine when I was about 10 weeks. I registered for every little thing that I'll need (according to multiple lists online) and I bought all the big stuff, crib, changing table, rocker, dressor for the nursery, and I'm waiting until after my shower to buy whatever is remaining from our list :)

I'm due in April & my boyfriend & I started it around the end of December, early January. We actually just finished our second registry at target last weekend! Our baby shower is March 19th! Very excited.

We are going to do ours after our gender ultrasound at 12 weeks but my mom has called me everyday asking what stroller/career/cloth diapers/ ect ect lol. My husband works security at target and has been checking the baby clearance everyday to see what's there that we will need. So far we've already scored both of our diaper bags for under $20, a $50 thermometer for $11, some clothing, and a wipe warmer for $14 reg $20 and I'm only 8 1/2wks along. I don't think it's ever too early

I started slowly creating mine when we decided to conceive, maybe I'm crazy but I'd like to think its cause I'm a planner. I want to see reviews and get a good deal too.

I've had people ask me to start it, even though I'm only like 3 months. We're moving next month and I don't want to haul extra stuff, so I will get it set up once we're settled at the new house!
