Tummy tightening?

I'm 19 weeks and recently I've noticed that at night my belly will tighten to be almost rock hard and then within 45 seconds it loosens again. Has this happened to anyone? Any idea what it is? I'm going to ask my doctor about it because my appointment is Monday but any personal experience with this?

Braxton Hicks!! Enjoy just the tightening now! As you get farther along, they get more intense. At the moment, they take my breath away when I get them lol

sounds like Braxton hicks , they usually last around 30seconds or so. They're contractions preparing your body for labor in a few months

I just turned 22 weeks today and my belly was doing this morning. This is my 4th. And it's just Braxton and hicks! Nothing to worry about and it's good practice for your body!
