Heart Rate Myth...Any thoughts?

So...anyone believe in the heart rate old wives tale that supposedly can predict gender?? My doctor says heart rate differs depending on gestational age. My baby's heart rate at 13w3d was 162...any thoughts? What was your baby's average heart rate, and what are you having??

At 10 weeks my baby boy was 174. But thought the majority of my pregnancies he's been between 140-155

Okay so basically it's definitely a myth and baby's heart rate differs from baby to baby...well then it's anyone's guess what I'll be having lol 😊😊😊 so anxious to find out already!!! Hoping for a boy! Still have to wait about 6 weeks. Thanks everyone for your responses 👍

At 11 weeks baby girls heart rate was 169, since then the whole 2nd trimester it's dropped and she stays in the 130-140 range

My girl was in the 160s and even hit 179 at one point.
