Dealing with Long Distance

So my boyfriend are I have changed to long distance and will be for the next three months while he's out of the country. There's a 6 hour time difference and trying to text him is so hard because of that and the reception his phone gets there. I really miss him and I just don't want to sit around thinking about him constantly all day. Any other girls in long distance relationships that have some tips for me?
