Ovulating twice!?!?

So the second week of this month I took a few ovulation tests, which indicated I was ovulating (the digital ones with the smiley faces). I am 5 days late for my period (which isn't uncommon for me), but I went to the gyno last night who told me I was most definitely ovulating and she could tell by my CM.....this left me thoroughly confused. Like I said, I havent had my period AT ALL yet this month. What could this mean? (All preg tests have been negative as well). I asked my gyn if it's possible to ovulate twice and she said it's rare. Any similar experiences?
