Concerns about the baby.

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday. Found out it is a boy! The dr didn't really say much about the baby's health other than everything looks mostly normal. That's all he said. He doesn't believe in testing to see if the baby is okay or not he thinks that nature takes care of it. I guess my question is does your dr have to tell you if there is something wrong with your baby?
