Earlier positive ovulation

I'm still on my period but very spotty or light but Iv always been heavy and I'm still spouse to have 3 days left of this month's bleed apart from I don't know why I done a ovulation test it's come back positive but surly I shouldnt be ovulating already can anyone give me any ideas of why and if it's happened to them thanks
