UTI still after multiple antibiotics?

I've been on 3 different antibiotics and it still burns to pee. It goes away while on antibiotics for the most part (it still burns a little every other day when on antibiotics) but like when I off antibiotics it burns way more. It'll be so bad I'm almost in tears and the next day barely any at all. I'm so scared to use the bathroom because I never know how bad it'll be. I'm 15 and this has been going on and off since early November of 2015 and in January 22nd 2016. Help :c advice?

Girl I completely understand this happens to me too. Unfortunately there are several different types of UTI and several different strengths of antibiotic. The problem is that not all antibiotics work for every type of UTI, it's sort of a trial and error process. The first antibiotics you were given eleviated the symptoms but unfortunately did not fully treat the infection and therefore it hasn't fully gone away and you've either been reinfected or you need different antibiotics. The best advice I can give is to go back to your doctor and say that you've tried three types, if you can tell her what types you tried and that it's not gone away. UTI's that persist can also lead to further bladder or kidney infections and it could be that the infection has travelled and developed into cystitis or a kidney infection. Cranberry juice will ease the pain slightly, as will over the counter cystitis relief which you dissolve into your drink. I'd also recommend drinking as much water as possible because even though it hurts so bad every time you urinate you're flushing out your system. Good luck!

Maybe it's time to see a urologist. I get UTIs so frequently my doctor sent me to a urologist to see if there were any underlying causes. They're specialty is this. They might have more answers for you.

Could possibly have a yeast infection? I know sometimes strong antibiotics or multiple rounds of antibiotics lead to a yeast infection for me.
