How did you know your marriage was over?

Feels like my marriage is falling to pieces more and more with each argument. We try our best to keep it going try everything to please each other but it's always something. There's never true happiness. If there is I'm the only one who is experiencing it. He's never happy with anything. Nothing is ever good enough. I feel so drained and lost. I love him as a person I've loved him for 8 years. It's different now though. Idk how did you know it was over?

When I realized I'd rather be at work than go home. Found myself taking extra shifts and asking for more hours. Hanging around after work off the clock.. I didn't want to go home with him, didn't want sex with him, everything he said annoyed the shit out of me and he was no help with anything. It was like having another child. It was horrible.

Relationships are work, really really hard sometimes, but both parties have to make an effort for true happiness, not just as a couple but as individuals. Communication is key, but again both parties have to be willing. Best of luck!

If there is no infidelity or abuse maybe try marriage counseling. My husband and I were fine a year ago in September. By dec things were getting rocky. We started counsing in January. I started praying for him in April. And now we are better than we have ever ever been and expecting our first! It worked for us but we are also Christians and committed to staying in a covenant relationship so that helped too. Hope yall can work it out girl. Prayers for you!

Mine slapped me for the first time last night. He's never done it before. Every fight we have is worse than the last. Maybe it is the time we end it. It's hard for me to come to do since our son just turned 1.

My engagement ended officially today... 
We was slowing things down but it's started getting worse for us, this first signs for us that it was falling apart was he was spending less and less time with me... he wanted to be doing things on his own rather than together then the lies started happening like "Oh I was at my mums" when he was really with mates. Then it was the broken promises like "things will get better I promise" " I promise I'm going to stick by you" by this time I got fed up and that's when the arguments started... so I think really the things you need to look out for are lies and rejection. I really hope you are OK though :(
