Boyfriend issues

My guy that I've been talking to since a week before my birthday, in November, is shipping out to basic for the marines...he had been pushing me into other guys and trying to get me to go out with other guys until last Saturday. He said he couldn't bare the thought of me in another guy's arms...any thoughts on what I should do? I really like him and some things that have happened have really hurt me and he still doesn't know how bad it hurt...I'm at a loss right now
