Help... TMI

I know this is tmi but I just shaved last night ... But the bumps have been forming for like weeks now and they are extremely itchy... They don't bleed, hurt, or have anything coming out of them .. My vagina just itches very bad .. Not inside , just around and it's very uncomfortable ... It's been happening since August.. I went to the gyno and they prescribed me some vaginal cream that supposed to stop the itching but it did not work ... Any idea to what this is ? I am so scared and this is really stressing me out🙃
