Anyone else feel cramping yet?

I am 37 weeks & 6 days. I woke up this morning with mild cramping on my left side and the middle of my lower abdomin. It feels exactly like what it feels like right before I get my period. I have been having Braxton Hicks for weeks. I hope this means she will be here soon and that I won't feel like this for the next 2 weeks. Is anyone else going through the same thing?

I've been having cramping on and off for the past few weeks - I'm a second time mom and at my last dr check I'm  2 cm and 75% effaced that was about 6 days ago so I'm hoping to be further along at my check Monday. I've been experiencing the cramping on and off more than actual Braxton hicks so for me at least it seems to be doing the job of progressing my cervix

I have had light cramping on and off since 34 weeks. I think it's just the body preparing, but I don't think it necessarily means labor will be coming soon. I am a ftm so I'm not sure but I would think it's normal towards the end. I also have had ligament pain again which I haven't had since the first trimester.

I looked on other pregnancy forums and some people have delt with this for weeks and others only a few hours. I guess it's like everything else...all pregnancies are different.
