Am I being selfish?!

Question

32 weeks. Was in hospital for preterm labor (again) yesterday for the better part of the day, into the evening. They were able to stop my Contractions after four hrs. They were every 5-7 minutes and I was having a TON of pressure. Got home around 8:30pm. Hubby informs me he's going fishing at 6.30 am w the guys!!! Ummmm excuse me?!! Wtf?! By then I was pissed so I asked him how he's going to get up to go fishing at 6:30 when he can't even get up to go to wk at 8?!

He got mad. Whatever. Woke up today and yep, he went fishing!  I'm supposed to be on bed rest but he knows that's impossible w our 20 month old. Ughhhhh. Am I being selfish??? What if something happened and I had the baby?! What about our toddler??

If you are on bedrest, He should be home taking care of you and your family!

Wow what an inconsiderate ass! Not only are you going into preterm labor but you have a 20 month old to take care of AND you're on bed rest?? Does he not have common sense or even courtesy?! Or respect for YOU?! He should be no where right now but with his FAMILY. Talk about selfish! I would be so pissed I really don't know if this is something I would ever be able to forgive and forget. I would absolutely feel resentment towards him. I'm not sure I'd be able to look at him when he gets home, let alone actually speak to him.

I told my guy absolutely no fishing until this guy comes.  Told him yesterday actually.  😊. I'm in the same boat.  I'm 32 weeks 3 days.  On Tuesday I went into the hospital 1 cm, 30% thinned out and contractions every 3-4 minutes. I was released Wednesday evening with contractions 1 hour apart.  They were back to 20 minutes last night and so I told him no fishing since he goes in the next town over and I would be alone with our 4 year old.  We have no one else if something happens so he understood, even though he's got fishin fever.

He's the one being selfish! A true man would stay home and tend to his pregnant wife. I would be incredibly upset with my husband if he left me hanging like that.
