Ok to begin with he does it randomly because he wants to see if u r still there regardless of the situation between the 2 of u. I am sorry to say but ignorance is the answer to this. Ignore him for a while. U will see how fast he'll change his attitude. Let him text and call until he decides to come face u to talk to u. And then tell him u don't have time for childish games. U r looking for someone serious. Men loves to fight for what they want. The less u give him the better. Theory proven to its core. Has always worked.

If you were the last one to text first, then wait a week or so to say anything else. If he doesn't text you within that period, I'd suggest moving on. Take a tip from the movie "It's not you, it's me", if a man wants to talk to you - he will. If a man wants to be around you- he will. When men are genuinely interested, they don't play games because they are just as excited to talk to you as you are them. So if you decide to wait to text him, and then you do after a week or so and he hasn't had some major life emergency or super busy schedule that's caused him to be out of touch, I'd move on. Men who are worth your time won't play games.
