Paraguard iud?

Question

Am I the only one that had horrible period and cramps? I hate it! Had it for two years in February! I'm thinking about getting it removed and trying a new one don't know which one to try! I tryed the depo that one didn't work for me and now I'm on the paraguard and it's worse

I've had the paraguard for about 4 years now. I hated it in the beginning. Doctor told me it was my body adjusting to having another baby (had it right after my second was born). Gave it a while and my periods were still horrible, so he put me back on the pill in addition to the paraguard. While it made them lighter, I have trouble remembering to take the pill and I feel it messed me up even more as to keeping track when they were coming so I'm off the pill again. So far not too bad but I'm waiting to see how the next few months go. Paraguard has no hormone so however your cycles are, is how they normally will be. The hormone is what makes things more predictable.
