Membrane stripping after previous emergency c section?

So I know my midwife won't induce me because of my prior c section... but I was wondering if anyone has had their midwife strip their membranes if you've had a previous c section. Would they strip them or were they against it like inducing? Also did it help start labor? What was it like?? I have my doctors appt tomorrow afternoon. Just looking for some insight until I can talk to her.
