Marginal placenta abruption

Hi everyone! I'm 16 weeks and started bleeding last Monday. Went in for an ultrasound and found out there was a marginal placental abruption. I have been trying to do some research to get an idea of what going on but can't find much. We were told by the doctor that I need to be on bedrest and won't know anything until our follow up ultrasound in two weeks. Has anyone had this before?
