Hair Loss with Mirena IUD

Has anyone found that they have lost hair or that their hair is more brittle and breaks easily with the mirena. I used to have extremely long and thick hair. I got the mirena put in about a year and a half ago and my hair has become very short and thin now. It breaks extremely easily. I read an article saying it could be connected to this and I wanted to see if anyone had the same problem.
