Ummmmm really??

Ok so tonight our 4 year old son said he was scared to sleep in his room. He was crying and my husband and I both went in there to talk to him. In the middle of him trying to tell us why he was scared of his room he starts to cry again and my husband told me to "leave because as long as you are in here he won't stop crying" like excuse me??!?! Wtf?? Omg I'm furious!!!
