Feeling beyond frustrated

Well i had my 40 week check up today. Well I'm not very happy. They won't induce until 10 days after my due date because there is a higher risk after that for the baby. Well last week my cervix was 3cm and today it's 1cm. Someone explain to me how it goes backwards. So I have to go back next week to talk about being induced but to find out my Dr is on vacation next week as well, so now I gotta go with someone completely new, to do the 41 week check up. I'm so done with everything.
