Miscarriage? 9 weeks - TMI

Hi,

First I'd like to state that this post is probably a little TMI but I'm scared.

I am 9 weeks and 2 days, from week 3/4 until week 8 I was experiencing extreme nausea and dizziness which has been slowly dying down since week 8 hit. I have also had bad constipation. The night before last I experienced some pretty painful cramping and ended up with diarrhea the next morning (yesterday), had more cramping yesterday and today resulting in diarrhea. So basically, I have decided the painful cramping was due to the stomach issues.

Well, about an hour ago I urinated, wiped and found a dark clump on the tissue. Wiped again and there was some brown tinge, a couple minutes ago there was no discharge or tinge.

Am I being paranoid? Should I be worried? I had occassional spotting weeks 6 and 7, but it was all the light brown tinge on tissue and nothing more. We had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and there was a heartbeat. I'm supposed to have another one next week.

Hoping someone has some insight. Thanks!

Thanks for everyone's input! It really put me at ease and helped me stay calm until today. The appointment went well, everything is on track, we even got to see the little baby dance!

I'd wait for the ultrasound next week to see what's going on. It sounds like maybe some implantation bleeding again, but if it comes back you may want to consider going to the hospital or calling your doctor to see what they suggest

I've hear of women passing clumps of tissue and it being fine. My current pregnancy started out with Diarrhea and I read that all the hormones changing can either stop you up or make you go, so that may be what's happening! I had a mc in October and it was accompanied by diarrhea, however I also had severe cramping like contractions and so painful I needed meds to get through it...that doesn't sound like what you're experiencing. My advice would be if you get more concerned tonight or tomorrow to call the hotline at your Dr's office, someone should always be on call. If you feel like you are ok until Monday I'd call first thing in the AM and see if they can see you sooner. Good luck and let us know what they say 🙏🏻

I am sure everything is still fine !!! If it's brown discharge it is old blood which is good !! If you see fresh blood then you can worry ..since you have lost loads of fluid try to drink at least 3 ltr water a day ....good luck and rest

I had a miscarriage almost two months ago and it doesn't sound like that is what's happening with you. Unless it becomes bright red discharge, and you have lower back pain and really strong cramping (way worse than period cramps) I think you should be good. If anything, call your dr and she/he may see you sooner to make sure everything is ok! All the best!
