Going off of Nuvaring

I was on Nuvaring for 2 years. In October 2015, my husband and I decided I should stop taking this medicine so we can start TTC sometime this year (2016) AF did not arrive at all until January 2016, and we started TTC every day of my ovulation timeframe, and 7 more days on top of that. I am having (what I think) are pregnancy symptoms (bloating, constipation, mild sickness occasionally, my belly looks huge), but I am still not sure if this is some type of after-affect of the Nuvaring and my cycles trying to regulate. I am 6 days from when I think AF should arrive, and I got a BFN. Any ideas on how Nuvaring affects you once you go off of it?
