Surprise or not?

My husband and I are currently trying to conceive  and we started talking about some of the decisions we will have to make when it actually happens. We figured out he wants to be completely surprised when it comes to knowing the sex of the baby. He doesn't want to know the gender until the baby is actually born. I'm the opposite. I want to know the sex as soon as possible. What are your opinions on finding out the sex or not in your own pregnancies?

For me it was so much easier planning for the baby when we knew the sex. On the other hand, my brother and his wife were told they were having a boy, when they ended up having a girl. But that's something you 2 will have to talk over.

My husband and I considered keeping it surprise, but as the pregnancy progressed we both changed our minds! We decided to find out and were lucky enough to have our anatomy scan on Christmas Eve, which was such a wonderful gift. One thing we are really enjoying is being able to call the baby by his name. We also have had a lot of fun personalizing the nursery.

Even though we know we're having a boy, we picked a gender neutral color for his room. Maybe we'll be able to hold it together and keep it a surprise for our next pregnancy!

I want to know personally, but if my husband didn't I wouldn't. It'd be too hard for me to keep the secret from him.

I'd rather wait till birth personally. It's such an amazing experience. I did that with my son. It was something I'll never forget.

We found out with our first. We're due in July with our second and aren't finding out. It makes me so excited for delivery.
