Okay, so here's my story....

April 21,2015 my husband and I found out we were pregnant. May 20, 2015 we found out that baby no longer had a heartbeat. I was 8 weeks and 3 days along. Had a D&c on the 26th. My period symptoms started changing after that, so I set up an appointment to go back to my obgyn on November 4. Told her about the symptoms, and irregular periods but I never thought about the irregularity BC they have always been that way. She suggested 500 mg of metformin to regulate them, started taking 1 a day for three weeks then uped it to two like she said to do. Went back to the ob January 18,2016 and had to tell her that they haven't regulated it at all. I am having 36 day cycles. Usually metformin is used for diabetes or pcos, both of which I don't have. She just said it would regulate my cycles. When I went back on the 18th she said just to up it to three a day and she thinks it will help. The first day of my last period was Jan 6, and I still haven't started ovulating this month and I am on cycle day 24. Does anyone else have a similar story or maybe success stories with metformin?! If so, how long did it take for the metformin to work and was you taking it with anything else, like clomid?
