Timing Sex?

This may be a really dumb question but I'm wondering what the general timing of ovulation is? Obviously if it says on say, Monday. Does it make a difference if DH and I have sex Monday at 1 o clock in the a.m or 6 o clock in the evening? Or is there absolutely no way to tell and I'm just working myself up because I have yet to get my BFP😑 Any tips are much appreciated.xx
