Falling pregnant after a D&C

Sadly had a miscarriage 2months ago (we conceived with clomid)  for unknown reasons the embryo stopped developing at 6weeks had a heart beat and all was going well, but my body didn't register and kept continuing like normal until we found out at the 12weeks scan, (makes me feel gross knowing it was dead inside me for 6weeks) anyway ended up having a D&C and my fiancé and I are trying again, unfortunately he has poor sperm count and the quality isn't  the best either, I have herd after having a D&C the likly hood of conciving is higher? Are there any success story's out there.. We are trying to adviod clomid this time around.
