Teal and gold baby shower...for a girl.

So my friend has offered to do all the decorations for my baby shower. She just wanted me to pick a theme so she could get some ideas of what I wanted. Trouble is I can't think of a theme but instead I'm thinking more of patterns and colors. But I'm not really a pink person. And since I'm having a girl I don't really want everything to be pink. I really like a real/Robin egg blue kind of color with white and gold and a chevron pattern. But my boyfriend said its not really girly and it'll look like its for a boy. But I think if we made everything with like lots of ribbon and ruffles and glitter and maybe put some fake flowers out, we could make it girly. Here's what I got from Google for ideas. What do you guys think. Can we make it girly enough?
