Trying to get pregnant with #2

So I've been trying with my hubby for the past 6 months to get pregnant and still nothing we both have kids so we no their no problem with the stocks but ugh it's so frustrating I've been taking my vitamins being healthy not smoking or drinking and still nothing it took me 8 months last time with the first shouldn't it be easier the second time what am I doing wrong !!!!!
