Boyfriend's word choice

My boyfriend said "I love him more than I love you" talking about his unborn baby that he doesn't know the gender of. It felt weird idk...he's said it a few times I don't like the way it sounds am I being emotional? I feel like he needs to love me like the mother of his unborn baby and the same or equal as baby. Maybe I'm wrong..
