Insurance and Breast Pump

Is anyone else's insurance telling them that breast pumps are covered, but not until after birth? I have BCBS of NC and while I understand making us wait until say 30 days before birth, I can't understand making us wait until after birth. As if there is not already enough for a new mom to deal with. Just irritated and wondering if I am the only one dealing with such an inane policy.
