How to know if you are pregnant

I had my period last month, the first day was as heavy as it normally would be but it was way shorter than I'm used to, it was the first period I have had since coming of the pill (I had to for health risks) and I haven't been the safest I possibly could be with sex and now I'm late this month by three days ish, my cycle used to be longer than most womens before I was on the pill so maybe it's just trying to get its shit sorted but I was just wondering if there are any other early symptoms of pregnancy?
