U.K. Travel insurance
Any uk ladies out there managed to find decent travel insurance for pregnancy?
We're heading to France on the 18th March (I'll be 29 weeks). We are driving over, not flying, and I'm so confused with travel insurance.
One place I called this morning stated I would be covered to travel up to 32 weeks (wahoo) but I forgot to ask what they include in their cover (going to ring back shortly)
Another place said they don't class pregnancy as an "illness" so I would be covered, but if I needed a c-section/termination/premature delivery after 32 weeks then they wouldn't cover that?! What does that mean for travel before that time? Is maternity stuff covered or not?
So confused!
Also, what does my ehic card cover?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
