Flirting waitress rant
My husband and I were having lunch at a pretty nice restaurant. The entire time, the waitress only made eye contact with my husband, played with her hair and had one of those side smiles anytime he spoke. Wtf. I know I have a good looking husband, but sweetie, you work for tips. The tip that I always choose to give you based on the customer service you give US, not HIM. Don't ever forget that the one you should be pleasing is the woman, she's the one that will want to come back to the restaurant and also handle the tip. I feel like the past COUPLE of times this has happened, I'd rather just ask for a waiter to avoid the ridiculous feeling of being annoyed, and I get to enjoy my meal with the best company I can ask for. 😊 okay rant over.
Edit for the women that think I'm insecure: just because I don't like shitty customer service doesn't mean I'm insecure. The advancements were pretty clear. My point is that I'm also a customer, not just someone who tags along and doesn't expect to be waited on. I had asked several times for a refill on my water, and the ONE time my husband asked- she went and got it. It's happened twice. Will I avoid having it happen again? Yes. Why? Because I want quality service for what I pay for. And no, my husband doesn't fall for it. Instead, he jokes about the little 16 year old girl trying to make a buck and how we used to be flirtatious thinking it would get us that extra tip. Please. 😂😂 and I'm not that bitchy woman who glares because of someone being nice, I'm nice too! I smile and joke and try to lighten the mood. I can't even imagine what shitty customers she must get some times. This is focused on the waitresses that think it's okay to ignore the woman in hopes of a better tip. Or maybe just because they're cunts. Who knows?! 😂
