How could you abandon us?

Question

I have no where else to turn to vent. I'm broken. My boyfriend of a year left me after seeing pictures from Nov of last year of my boobs and butt. I'm a long time advocate for women's rights and equality. He freaked out after seeing two pictures and the other NSFW stuff I reblog on my personal blog. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and he has adopted my two year old. He has told me I have to be out of the house this weekend and we are done. Since seeing my Tumblr he has said I have an obsession with porn and other ridiculous things. I just don't know what to do. He wants me to have an abortion but I don't want that even though he was completely against abortion when we discussed it. I asked him if he's willingly going to abandon his family and child over a pic of my boobs and he said yes. I'm at a loss.

I think that perhaps you should negotiate with him about this. I'm all for women's rights and having the freedom to go topless if I so choose, but I'm also reapectful towards the modesty my partner  prefers from me and wouldn't put exposed pictures of myself on the internet because I know he wouldn't approve. And on that, I side with him.
However, it was wrong of him to tell you to get an abortion. Perhaps he was just speaking in anger, but it was wrong, and I'm sure that once he's thinking more clearly, he'll come to his senses. My man had asked me to get one as well, and I chose not to hold it against him because he was just speaking from fear.
Love is compromise. You two need to sit down together (possibly with a mediator) and discuss boundaries within your relationship and expectations you have for each other in order to make things work. You may need to take down the tumblr account if that's where you've been posting the pictures, or risk losing the relationship.

Honestly it doesnt speak much for his moral compass if he wants you to hide your breasts because thats aweful but terminating a life is not?!I hope things work out the best for you. Im sorry about the situation.

Sounds like he's a man child stuck in the past. You have every right to show your body if that's what you want to do. He's pathetic if he's going to throw away not only a relationship but his family and children because of that.

Tough situation. I'm hoping it would blow over for you once he thinks about how long ago they were posted. My husband would be extremely outraged and I don't know what he would do. Nothing for sure, but I imagine divorce could be a possibility. If I was a guy I wouldn't want to be with someone that had those pictures posted on line (not that it's wrong, just my personal thought)  I think I can understand his knee jerk reaction. But telling you to get an abortion was wrong regardless.

Do not have an abortion just because he said that. Maybe he is still so angry and needs some time to calm down. If not he was not a keeper anyway. I can understand him objecting to the pics but if you take them down and don't it anymore that's not a reason to leave you and ask for an abortion.
