Venting! SO is mad I am sick...
So my husband and I have been extremely broke for the past year thanks to my student loans and my job. (I am currently looking for a new job) I recently caught a nasty cold as well as a sinus infection. I am MISERABLE!!! This is the worst I have ever felt with a cold. Well I decided to take today off. I have no voice and I am actually in pain and can't focus.
My husband woke up shortly after I called into work and asked why I wasn't getting ready. I told him I called in. He is PISSED!!! I get paid commission. So I don't get PTO. If I miss a day, I don't get paid. He is trying to guilt trip me into going to work.
This is the first time I have ever called into work... Ever!!! I never call in and always suck it up. But I need to rest! I can't muster up the energy to get around. And I am even more upset that my husband is pissed that I am sick. I cant control this!
He said that I am making an excuse to be lazy and sit around all day and that my laziness won't help pay the bills.
