Is this guy for reals?

So I do a bit of social dancing, and in the group there's this guy whose pretty hot. He's silly and flirty and we have a lot of fun dancing. I'm in a place in life where I don't mind being single. But I think maybe there's a chance he likes me back. Last night he might have gotten jealous after I danced and had a convo with a long time friend afterwards. He came from the other side of the room to stand near and introduce himself to him and dance alone. But we all danced together eventually (doing silly stuff). But later that night some tiny Asian girls came from out of town, tried talking to them but they sounded like babies so I decided not to. One of them hugged my crush from behind and kept stroking his beard. It was weird to watch. I dismissed myself. You think they got something going on? Or just really good friends?

Should I even pursue something? Or just flirt but not let it get to the next level?
