Baby shower...

My dad is throwing my baby shower. He begged, its his first grand child so I let him. I know its different for a man to throw it and I almost don't trust it but he's too excited for me to stop it. I'm worried he won't convey a cute theme and everything will be tacky. Also, he wants to do it at a restaurant I'm a ftm...is that tacky or not??
