Um I've done anal a couple of times. It did hurt the first and the second time. I don't get much pleasure from it (and what pleasure I do get is mental), but my boyfriend enjoys it. After the first two times it doesn't really hurt anymore. (For me). Definitely don't do it unless you're 100% comfortable.
