from birth till now how many times have you been sick from eating a sandwich? now what are the chances it will happen i the 9 months of pregnancy? i eat deli meat several times a week, i ate runny eggs for breakfast this morning. if i havent been sick in the 20 years of my life from eating it chances are im not going to while pregnant. iv had food poisoning more times in my life from eating a cheeseburger, not once from a deli sandwich

Go eat that sandwich,  I eat a lot of sandwiches in a week . my daughter is fine and never have any food poison issues with a yummy sandwich.

Heat it in the oven first. Deli meat is "probably" okay if it's very fresh but not worth the risk of listeria in my opinion.

My doc said it is ok as long as you toast it or warm it to make sure the meat is completely cooked thru.

You'll hear so many different things! There is a very small risk of listeria. Only you can decide if it's worth it or not. I was craving one since right before I got pregnant, but never got one and then found out I was pregnant and cried because I couldn't have it 😂 Finally got up the courage to ask the guy at the sandwich counter if he would heat up just the turkey for me and he laughed and asked if I was pregnant. He heated up the turkey, added all of my fixings and I let it cool when I got home and took a bite and it tasted just as good as normal. I hate hot sandwiches so I thought it was going to be a long 9 months, but now I'm all set!

I eat publix subs, subway, but deli meat and eat it whenever I want. This is my second pregnancy and as long as your not eating it on the daily it should be ok. Also publix deli meat is sliced from the actual block of meat not pre packaged.

My first trimester I lived off of Jimmy John's, and never heated it up, it's a low risk of getting it! I say eat a way girlfriend!
