Stay at home jobs?

Hi all. I have a two year old and it's almost impossible to find affordable daycare. I may need to stay home. Has anyone ever tried or successful at any stay at home jobs? Most what I come across are scams. Please help!

I'm in the same boat. I've been setting myself up on Upwork.com - it's a website kinda like LinkedIn where you link your resume,  skills,  etc, then you can browse freelance jobs in a variety of fields. There's stuff like admin work,  transcription work,  translation, editing,  etc.  It seems cool because youre just committing to indivual tasks and getting paid for them,  rather than becoming employed,  so if you want flexibility that seems like a good bet. I haven't tried it yet though,  so I can't guarantee how good it is,  but seems pretty good and I've heard and read great things.
My frustration has been that whenever I ask the same question you asked,  I get a flood of those MLM people (Avon, beach bodies,  smoothies,  younique, etc.) and they are relentless! Especially sucks when they pretend to want to be your friend then you realize all they want is to sell you stuff :(

I hope I can. There's one called transcribing, where your basically type out what a audio recording says. Look into it, idk how realistic it is but you work at your own pace. If you can type that is.
