Rifle yearbook photo?
This is a photo that a teenager submitted to be in the yearbook at his school. He said that he prides himself in his patriotism and guns/hunting is his hobby, therefore he wanted to represent who he is in the photo and meant no harm. The school banned it and said that it was against policy but the teen and his father are fighting the school over it claiming it doesn't break policy.
On one hand, I don't think he meant harm and I like the idea of representing yourself and your hobby in the yearbook. However, I agree with the school that it is against policy and isn't necessarily appropriate for a yearbook photo.
How do you feel about this photo? Should it be allowed? Why?
