Can I take Alka-seltzer if I'm pregnant?

I'm ttc and there is a possibility I might be pregnant. I had a miscarriage a few months ago so I'm being super careful as we've just started ttc again. I've got a cold and I want to take alka-seltzer Plus Cold tabs. That's what I normally take. Has anyone ever had a doctor say not to take them, or a doctor tell them that it's safe to take them when pregnant? Otherwise what do I take for a cold? Are cough drops ok? I'd love some input.
