Crib Bumpers?

Are any of you ladies getting crib bumpers? I know they are not recommended anymore, but I've seen so many of them and have heard from a lot of people- consumers and sales people- that they are still bought. Just wondering what everyone is doing.

I only use the mesh crib bumpers- they are not as cute as the ones that go with your nursery set.  But the piece of mind for SIDS is worth it to me, I picked white mesh bumpers and they looked fine with my quilt/sheets from pottery barn kids!

The crib set I bought came with bumpers, but it doesn't fit until we lower the crib to the next level down, and so we will hold off until the baby is a little older.

I am getting them! 🙈🙈🙈 From what i have read the bigggest concern is making sure they are not let loose so the baby gets tangled in them and SIDS. We are OCD here with things being cleaned and everything perfectly placed so i know that I will be on top of the bummpers being were they belong and tightly fastened from the outside. i had beautiful bumppers in my own crib and so did my husband and my 12 year old. So i am not over concerned. I don't plan on putting any blankets, pillows, or stuffed animals in the crib. 😳😬😉

My doula said they're a big fat no and she never pushes her opinions. They're simply a no go until babe is about a year old.

We're not getting them. Everyone says no and it's just extra money. I like the idea of the mesh ones. I guess if we need them later those would be the ones I would go with too.
