What works better for my fellow PCOS cysters when TTC?

PCOS cysters when TTC?" /> I was on clomid but it didn't really work, and I know of alot of woman that tried metformin and said it worked better for them. My doctor says Clomid is the best to go and that I can even do both together. What do you ladies think?

Did your doctor mention Letrozole? My doctor said Letrozole is better than clomid for women with pcos. I ovulated each time on 3 cycles of letrozole.

Metformin is not a fertility drug however clomid is, metformin is used in pre-diabetics (insulin resilstant PCOS) and diabetics to help control glucose levels, by regulating the glucose in your blood your body can *sometimes* start to ovulate normally as everything starts to "right" itself, for me the metformin did regulate my glucose and even allowed me to drop a few pounds but it did nothing to help my fertility because it's not a fertility drug, clomid however is, when my body was regulating glucose correctly I was able to start clomid and the combination of fertility drug and glucose controlling allowed me to fall pregnant- I wish you good luck!
