DH infertility
Hello all, this is my first time posting and we only received this news today, so please bear with me 😔 my DH and I have a 2y/o DS. It took about 8months of ttc for me to get pregnant. We have not used birth control since our DS arrived in Early 2014. We have been actively ttc our second for 12months - opks etc. Last week we went to my obgyn. All tests on me came back perfectly fine - hormones are normal, I am ovulating normally, sonogram was clear. However my DHs SA was very poor. Only 8million sperm and zero motility. We have a urologist appointment tomorrow. I feel so devastated and unprepared for this. I was convinced it would be an hormonal issue with me. I thought since we conceived naturally 3 years ago that the chances of a sperm issue were minimal. Can anyone share their story - having conceived naturally once and then finding out there is zero motility...what treatments were you offered etc....how did you cope? I can't talk to anyone about this. I'm so upset but want to be supportive and strong for DH.Â
