Blah blah, weed
*Please only helpful feedback from moms who have used marijuana in their pregnancies. I'm trying do what's best, so please don't post comments that aren't constructive*
To be fair, I'm stopping weed use after having tried it only in the last few weeks. I am four months pregnant now, and at about 13 weeks, there was nothing I could do for relief from symptoms. The worst of the problems were migraines, which I've had my whole life. They're hard to treat when pregnant, though. I tried all the 'safe' prescriptions before trying pot, and nothing was helping until then. I've lost weight, I can barely function, I've had to quit my job. My doctor prescribed me Zofran, but that only works some of the time, and the side-effects suck. With that said, I am quitting because I would hate for my baby to be taken away due to marijuana use. I'm not selfish, but the stress from being sick like that made the symptoms worse, I think. I just want them to have a happy and safe home. I've only used a little bit, and it's generally only been one hit when pain is at an extreme, or if I can't stop throwing up even after I take Zofran. My question here is actually for people who have used while pregnant. How long did it take to get out of your system? Did your baby test positive at all at birth? Did they have any birth defects? When did you stop smoking/ingesting?
