40 weeks 6 days... Still nothing... Getting discouraged.

I'm 40 weeks 6 days and I'm still only 1cm dilated! Baby's head continues to drop but my cervix still won't drop or dilate more. I'm losing faith that I'll have this baby naturally. The doctor told me today if I haven't went into labor by now I'm not going to. It's really disappointing. This is my first baby tho and I've always heard you can go 2 weeks either way of due date. I guess I just need to hear some positivity right now. Thanks ladies!
