Feeling worried

My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive since mid January. We started right after my last cycle right through my fertility days. I started spotting for 3 days after so i took a hpt but it was negative. Had one day of spotting yesterday. My glow task said I should try taking a pregnancy test today. Does it matter if I take one tonight since I'm 3 days away from my next cycle day or wait until the morning to test? Help....
